PCCOFF removes power from all PCMCIA/Cardbus Cards. The BIOS of some notebooks does not initialize the cards and thus the drivers fail to recognize the cards after a warmstart. Source code available.
Program is distributed as ARJ package: download to temporary directory and unpack to destination folder. Add in config.sys
BASEDEV=PCCOFF.SYS

PCCOFF removes power from all PCMCIA/Cardbus Cards. I have written it
because the BIOS of my new notebook does not initialize the cards and
thus the drivers fail to recognize the cards after a warmstart.
usage:
OS/2:
copy PCCOFF.SYS to \OS2\BOOT and insert
BASEDEV=PCCOFF.SYS
near the beginning of your CONFIG.SYS
DOS:
put DEVICE=PCCOFF.SYS into CONFIG.SYS
