A note about the future of ecsoft2.org

ecsoft2.org runs on software (Drupal 7 and PHP 7.4) that reached its end of life years ago and no longer receives security updates. Keeping the site online safely is getting harder.

Giving it a future means migrating it to a current platform — and that is only worth doing if people still use it and want to help keep it alive.

If you care about ecsoft2.org, as a user, a contributor, or someone willing to lend a hand, please ggambatiscali [dot] it (get in touch) by January 31, 2027.

If no one comes forward by then, the site will be turned into a read-only archive, so that its content stays available.

DeRegistered is a program to deregister WPS Classes, after software removing or simply for system maintenance. Use it carefully!

On 30/09/2013, the author, Jens Glathe, has released DeRegistered 0.4 as Open Source software under the GNU GPL license.

This software is distributed as compressed package. You have to download and manually install it; if prerequisites are required, you will have to manually install them too.

DeRegistered v. 0.4 (1/10/2013, Jens Glathe)	Readme/What's new	DeRegisterer v. 0.4- a program to deregister WPS Classes DeRegisterer is the result of the installation of the BonusPak from OS/2 Warp 3.0 on my computer. I was a bit annoyed that it is so difficult to remove the WPS classes from the system, so I wrote this program. It's very simple, it uses the WinDeRegisterObjectClass() API to do its work. It doesn't destroy any Objects derived from the deleted class or delete the corresponding dll, so you have to do it on your own. It has been tested at OS/2 2.1 and OS/2 3.0. There are no known errors. WARRANTIES: NONE. The program is freeware. Bug reports and suggestions are welcome.
