OpenJazz Jazz Jackrabbit Game loader for OS/2

Produced by Epic Games, it was first released in 1994. The fast-paced, colourful gameplay proved popular, and the game won PC Format's Arcade Game of the Year award.

Many people still fondly recall the shareware versions.

The main feature of this loader is to allow high resolutions without pixelation, not available using DOSBOX and supports also mod sound: OS/2 DOS window session does not support Jazz Jackrabbit.

This software is distributed as compressed package. You have to download and manually install it; if prerequisites are required, you will have to manually install them too.

Manual installation

Program is distributed as ZIP package: download to temporary directory and unpack to destination folder. See below for download link(s). See the readme.os2 file included for details. You need the original PC MSDOS levels.

You can install the prerequisites with rpm running the following string in a command line:

yum install libc libssp libgcc1 libgcc-fwd libstdc++6 libsupc++6 gcc sdl
