MED is an editor for OS/2 with predefined syntax highlighting for C/C++, REXX, Modula-2, Javascript, Java, Pascal, ADA, X86 and 68K assembler, Clipper, Fortran, Lisp, LaTeX, HTML, Perl, makefiles, OS/2 config.sys, IPF/IPP documents, OS/2 resource files.

This software is distributed as compressed package. You have to download and manually install it; if prerequisites are required, you will have to manually install them too.

Manual installation

Program is distributed as ZIP package: download to temporary directory and unpack to destination folder. Create a program object. See below for download link(s).

The output window of a previous started tool will be kept open, if a tool is started without redirection. NEW: Flat toolbar buttons. You can switch to the standard buttons, by disabling the "Flat" option in the toolbar's context menu. CHG: The "Home" button of the file selector now changes to the directory of the active document, if MED was started from the installation directory. Otherwise, "Home" changes to the start directory.
