The gX XML parser can be used to valid and rewrite your XML files. It provides excellent control over error reporting. It also provides quite a capable XML editor. It comes with pre-parsed Document Types which can assist you in creating valid XHTML web documents.

This software is distributed as compressed package. You have to download and manually install it; if prerequisites are required, you will have to manually install them too.
