Eukleides is a computer language devoted to euclidean geometry.

This package contain two command-line programs which convert Eukleides scripts into LaTeX or eps/ps files.

Eukleides is a full featured programming language, for learning and teaching elementary plain geometry using programming and it is very useful to create high quality LaTeX documentation including scientific and engineering graphics data. The language provides conditional and iterative structures, user defined functions, modules, etc. and more, Eukleides can easily be extended.

This software is distributed as compressed package. You have to download and manually install it; if prerequisites are required, you will have to manually install them too.

Manual installation

Program is distributed as ZIP package: download to temporary directory and unpack to destination folder. See below for download link(s).

  • Eukleides language source files, in order to be syntactically consistent, must be saved using 1004 CODEPAGE (Latin-1 Windows extended).
  • Readline (6.1.4) and an editor supporting CODEPAGE 1004, i.e. File Commander (Alt+c) are needed.

You can install the prerequisites with rpm running the following string in a command line:

yum install libc libgcc1 libssp libstdc++6 libstdc++ libsupc++6 libsupc++ libgcc-fwd readline
