Please backup your WarpCenter settings before install this package. Another condition for use of this program is you must send us an E-Mail stating that you are using the program. Installation 0 If installed, delete your "cd-player for warpcenter Vx.x" 1 Unpack the archive to a directory like X:\TEMP 2 Open a os2-console (cmd-window) 3 switch to directory like X:\Temp 4 Type Install PATH Path ist the path where the files will placed e.g. type Install X:\WC_CD_13 Have a look at the WarpCenter during installation! DON'T CREATE THE DIRECTORY BEFORE RUNNING THE INSTALL SCRIPT. THE SCRIPT WILL CREATE THE DIRECTORY. 5 You can delete the unpacked-files and close os2-console. 6 Enjoy. If you run install again, another cd-player-tray will be placed in the warpcenter. B. USAGE The install-script adds a tray "CD-PLAYER" to WarpCenter. Switch to this tray and push the power-button. This starts a server-demon, that communicates with your CD-ROM. Now You can use the other buttons. To kill the server push the power-button again. Alternatively you can use the program objects in your program installation folder. Problems: Do you use other cdrom like audio01? See section C. For other problems contact us. C. CUSTOMIZING You can modify the *.ico - files before you install. Don't change the filenames. You can edit all rexx-scripts, if you know what you do. For details contact me via E-MAIL. For use other cdroms as cdaudio01: read and edit the power.cmd script. For other introplay - length read and edit the power.cmd script. This should be easy. For source-code of wccdserv.exe contact me. D. DEINSTALLATION Delete all files in the path your program installation path, delete the tray called "CD-Player" from the WarpCenter with the standard-function in WarpCenter - ready. These scripts don't write to system ini-files or copy files to other directories. E. NOTES I hope that more developer of os2-software distribute their software freely and publishing their source-code, thats one reason for the success of linux. There is no way to add a display to the warpcenter without considerable modification of the WarpCenter files. We won't do this. We only use supported rexx functions. Don't worry.
