BookMaker assists the user in creating IPF files and compiling them with the IPF (Information Presentation Facility) compiler.

To create a simple INF file select File/New and type a title into the dialog which appears. Then select Heading and in the heading dialog type the title of your first heading. Finally select paragraph and insert your text into the file. Continue alternating between paragraph and heading for each additional topic in your file. I decided on a subset of commands to build into this first release. More will be added as time goes on. Please contact me as to what you would like to see in this product. All INF and HLP files included with this program were developed entirely with BookMaker. There is one exception where I added launch tags to some filenames within the BOOKMAKR.HLP file. These tags will probably be included with the next release. The ansi editor which is part of the Character Graphics option may not work for all people. There are font and Codepage issues involved. Please send me information on how this works for you. Enjoy! ******************************************************* Sept 28, 1994 Fixed a bug in the graphic which was supposed to be visible in the about box. Fixed a bug which prevented the Compile, Preview and View options from working properly. ******************************************************* November 12, 1994 Release of Version 2.0! The feature list is growing, but I need feedback if you want to see your favorite features added. On deck is multiple file compiles and Toolkit 3.0 enhancements. If you really need something that's not currently available, let me know and I'll put it at the top of the list. Made interface more graphical and much better looking. Added Indexing features and Sample file. Added Special Characters to the Edit/Insert menu. Fixed a bug which shut down the program when trying to overwrite selected text with a table. BookMaker now records it's previous position. In addition, you can change the color and font of the main text window with the font and color palletes.
