Qccrypt is a cross-platform frontend for ccrypt software (C) clone written in Qt4.

This software is distributed as compressed package. You have to download and manually install it; if prerequisites are required, you will have to manually install them too.

Manual installation

Program is distributed as ZIP/7 ZIP package: download to temporary directory and unpack to destination folder. See below for download link(s).

Following is a list of prerequisites that you have to manually install in order to have the program working:

You can install the prerequisites with rpm running the following string in a command line:

yum install libc libcx libgcc1 libssp libstdc++6 libstdc++ libsupc++6 libsupc++ libgcc-fwd libqt4 libqt4-gui libqt4-webkit libqt4-sql-mysql libqt4-sql-psql

Qccrypt v. 0.4 (22/4/2014)	Readme/What's new	Version 0.4 (2014-04-08) - Added Drag & Drop functionalities (only one file or folder at the time). Tested successfully on Windows 7 and KDE4 (from Dolphin to Qccrypt). When you drag and drop a file, it checks the file extension to determine if you wish to decrypt (extension = .cpt) or encrypt it. When you drag and drop a folder, Qccrypt asks you if you wish to encrypt or decrypt this folder. You can also cancel the operation. - Added an option for the folder encryption: it is now possible to not encrypt already encrypted files (enabled by default).

Qccrypt v. 0.3 (15/6/2011)	Readme/What's new	Compiled now with Qt4.6.3 GA (2011-06-15) - Added a progress bar. - Added a result window. - Changed folder encryption/decryption process: now, Qccrypt scans all files and encrypt/decrypt each one, instead of using the ccrypt recursive encryption parameter (-r).
