Authors/Port authors:

The Arca Noae Package Manager is a graphical interface to easily install, remove, and update software on any OS/2-based system. It is released under GPLv3 and is freely available for everyone.

This software is distributed as compressed package. You have to download and manually install it; if prerequisites are required, you will have to manually install them too.

Manual installation

Self-installing WarpIN package. See below for download link(s). See also:

ANPM is available with an English base package and several translations. Once you have installed the base package, it is possible to manually extract package contents using rpm2cpio and cpio commands (see screenshot).

When using ANPM on an OS/2 Warp version different from eCS 2.x, you need KLIBC Pathrewriters library, to correctly map the directories needed in a Unix-like environment.

Following ones are the download links for manual installation:

base - EN v. 1.0.4 (14/5/2019, Alex Taylor) Readme/What's new
While this is technically a minor update, it includes an array of substantial enhancements: * - Implemented editing of secure repositories. * - Implemented passing of long (>900 char) parameter lists by pipe instead of going through CMD (for package export). * - Install from file now goes through yum engine, thereby enabling dependencies and update/downgrade/reinstall. * - Ensured that special characters in encrypt/decrypt commands are not intercepted by CMD. * - Make sure reinstall, update, and downgrade also enable DLL conflict checking. * - Even more improved message formatting. * - Expanded help guide. * - Updated included libraries. * - Various bug fixes and other minor improvements.
