JFtp is a graphical Java network and file transfer client. It supports FTP using its own FTP API and various other protocols like SMB, SFTP, NFS, HTTP, and file I/O using third party APIs, includes many advanced features such as recursive directory up/download, browsing FTP servers while transferring files, FTP resuming and queueing, browsing the LAN for Windows shares, and more.

You can also have more than one connection open at a time in a mozilla-style tabbed browsing environment.

This software is distributed as compressed package. You have to download and manually install it; if prerequisites are required, you will have to manually install them too.

Manual installation

Download the JAR file to destination folder and create a java.exe program object with "-jar jftp.jar" as parameter. Alternatively, you can start it via network using Java Web Start, if available in Java.

Following is a list of prerequisites that you have to manually install in order to have the program working:
