HTMLDOC converts html source files into html, postscript or pdf format.

This software is distributed as compressed package. You have to download and manually install it; if prerequisites are required, you will have to manually install them too.

Manual installation

Program is distributed as ZIP package: download to temporary directory and unpack to destination folder. See below for download link(s).

Following is a list of prerequisites that you have to manually install in order to have the program working:

kLIBC / GCC Runtime Library

You can install the prerequisites with rpm running the following string in a command line:

yum install libc libcx libgcc1 libssp libstdc++6 libstdc++ libsupc++6 libsupc++ libgcc-fwd

HTMLDOC v. 1.9 (x-r157, 18/1/2019, Mentore Siesto)	Readme/What's new	CHANGES.txt - 10/23/2004 ------------------------ CHANGES IN HTMLDOC v1.9b1 - HTMLDOC now provides much better support for "wrapping" of text around images and new support for tables via the ALIGN attribute (STR #16) This is the OS/2 port of HTMLDoc 1.9.x r1571, built under GCC 4.5.2 for OS/2 and eComStation 1.x and later. Building this software wasn't as easy as configure & make, because of its built-in IPv6 support - I had to disable it modifying the file http.h. I will ask to the official developers to include the OS/2 corrections to disable IPv6 support. In the meantime, here is an OS/2 version. To learn what's HTMLDOC and how to use it, please consult the documentation under os2\doc. The binaries for htmldoc, testhtml and teststyle are under os2\bin.
