DOOM for OS/2

Release date:
Friday, 2 February, 2001

OS/2 port of DOOM. DOOM is a popular 1993 science fiction horror-themed first-person shooter video game by id Software. The DOOM source code was released as open-source on 1997, graphic, sound and levels copyrighted by id Software. Port by more authors.

DOOM for OS/2 was never officially released and it is considered by software engineers a technological feat: Indeed, DOOM for OS/2 runs inside a Presentation Manager window and it is much more performant than the original DOS version!

This software is distributed as compressed package. You have to download and manually install it; if prerequisites are required, you will have to manually install them too.
