This is a Java version of the famous game "Risk".

Usually eCSoft/2 does not mention Java applications unless expressly written for OS/2 or eComStation or that are relevant to the operating system: software that officially supports also OS/2; software initially developed on OS/2 and then extended to other platforms or software converted into Java language; software considered particularly useful or interesting for the platform; etc.

Domination (ex JRisk) is an exception, since we felt it is an excellent example of Java programming: it is powerful, stable, undemanding for resources and supports, without distinction, all the Java Runtime and all platforms! In short, really adhering to the Java slogan: "Write once, run anywhere (WORA)".

This software is distributed as compressed package. You have to download and manually install it; if prerequisites are required, you will have to manually install them too.

Manual installation

Program is distributed as self-installer java package: download to temporary directory, create a java.exe program object using "-jar Risk_install_1.x.x.x.jar" for parameters. After installation, create a java.exe program object using "-jar X:\complete_path\Risk.jar" for parameters. OpenJDK (Runtime or SDK) or Java SDK and JRE by Innotek or Java J2SE by Golden Code are required. See below for download link(s).
