Create an index of audio files on removable media or in a sub folder. Supported formats: MPEG audio and Ogg-Vorbis.

Features:

This REXX utility creates an fixed format machine and human readable ASCII index file of a volume or folder with MPEG or Ogg-Vorbis audio files.
Meta information (e.g. artist) is extracted and written to the index.
The files are checked for consistency roughly.
The previous index file is updated if possible. So only the new and modified files have to be checked.
A master index file, named Index, is maintained containing volume information.

This software is distributed as compressed package. You have to download and manually install it; if prerequisites are required, you will have to manually install them too.
