Programma OS/2 che converte un file immagine in un file postscript e lo passa ad una stampante. I formati gestiti sono: TIFF (8 o 24bpp), Targa (8, 16, 24 o 32 bpp), BMP (8 o 24bpp), PCX e VID. Per ora il programma è codificato per lavorare con la porta LPT1.

Questo software è distribuito come pacchetto compresso, da scaricare e installare manualmente; se ci sono prerequisiti da soddisfare, andranno anch'essi scaricati e installati manualmente.

Installazione manuale

Il programma è distribuito come pacchetto ZIP: scaricare in una cartella temporanea e scompattare nella cartella di destinazione. Vedi sotto per il(i) link di download.

TOPS - fast postscript printing from image files Usage: TOPS Fname {size} {/F} Where Fname is the name of the image file (see below) size is an optional interger value for the max dimension of the print /F specifies producing a postscript file (extension .PS) This is an OS/2 (V2+) program which will convert an image file to postscript and pass it to a printer. Formats handled are: TIFF (8 or 24bpp), Targa (8, 16, 24 or 32 bpp), BMP (8 or 24bpp), PCX and VID. Currently, the program is hardwired to LPT1. The conversion of the image file to PS and pouring it to the spooler usually occurs within a minute or so - the final print speed depends upon how fast your printer can accept and process PS data.
