TXT/2 PDF, a native and improved (Dutch) version of TXT2PDF (unpatched, broken release via https://sourceforge.net/projects/nikkhokkho/files/TXT2PDF), has been uploaded to https://xynixme.tripod.com. It's a simple drap-and-drop (and/or CLI) way to convert text files to PDF 1.1 files, without all possible settings of Text/2 PDF. 8-bittest can be used to check if all high ASCII characters of a text file will be supported, but TXT/2 PDF, unlike Text/2 PDF, itself has no setting to enable or disable generic support.
