Qoobar è un software che consente l'editor dei tags per diversi formati audio. Con Qoobar è possibile:

  • Editare tags ID3v2.4, Xiph.org, APE, ASF, MP3, Ogg/Vorbis, FLAC, MPC, Speex, TrueAudio, WavPack, e files Wma/Asf files (in Unix)
  • Editare qualunque tag in gruppi di files, dando lo stesso valore o individualmente
  • Editare i seguenti tags: Compositore, Album, Titolo, Interprete (aggiunto per migliorare i tags di musica classica), Artista, Commento, Genere, Anno, Numero Traccia, Totale Tracce
  • Aggiungere tags personali e salvarli
  • Generare tags dai nomi dei files
  • Rinominare/copiare/muovere files in base ai loro tags
  • Corregere la codifica errata Windows 1251
Questo software è distribuito come pacchetto compresso, da scaricare e installare manualmente; se ci sono prerequisiti da soddisfare, andranno anch'essi scaricati e installati manualmente.

Installazione manuale

Disponibile sia in formato ZIP che WarpIN:

  • scaricare il pacchetto ZIP/7 ZIP in una cartella temporanea e scompattarlo nella cartella di destinazione;
  • il pacchetto WarpIN è autoinstallante.

E' possibile installare i prerequisiti con rpm, eseguendo la stringa seguente in una finestra comandi:

yum install libc libcx libgcc1 libssp libstdc++6 libstdc++ libsupc++6 libsupc++ libgcc-fwd libqt4 libqt4-gui libqt4-webkit libqt4-sql-mysql libqt4-sql-psql
