A note about the future of ecsoft2.org

ecsoft2.org runs on software (Drupal 7 and PHP 7.4) that reached its end of life years ago and no longer receives security updates. Keeping the site online safely is getting harder.

Giving it a future means migrating it to a current platform — and that is only worth doing if people still use it and want to help keep it alive.

If you care about ecsoft2.org, as a user, a contributor, or someone willing to lend a hand, please ggambaattiscali [dot] it (get in touch) by January 31, 2027.

If no one comes forward by then, the site will be turned into a read-only archive, so that its content stays available.

L' Atari++ è un' emulatore basato su Unix dei computer Atari ad 8 bit, come l' Atari 400 e 800, l' Atari 400XL, 800XL e 130XE e la console di gioco  Atari 5200. L'emulatore è auto-configurabile e compila su un' ampia varietà di sistemi (Linux, Solaris, Irix). THOR Public Licence (TPL), una variante della "Mozilla Public Licence".

Atari++ 1.81 - Fixed a bug in SIO that prevented correct emulation with the SIO patch enabled. - Fixed a timing issue in the SIO emulation that sometimes returned a command acknowledge too early for the ROM codes to react. - Fixed a minor bug in the Pokey SIO sound emulation of SIO. - Fixed the command handling of the USDoubler disk drive emulation. - Updated Os++, the build-in operating system. A bug in the screen-handler prevented that the screen goes back to the editor in case an already established text window is closed by a screen-open command. - Minor cleanup in the command line of the built-in Dos of Os++. - Updated Basic++ to the latest version 1.06.
