A note about the future of ecsoft2.org

ecsoft2.org runs on software (Drupal 7 and PHP 7.4) that reached its end of life years ago and no longer receives security updates. Keeping the site online safely is getting harder.

Giving it a future means migrating it to a current platform — and that is only worth doing if people still use it and want to help keep it alive.

If you care about ecsoft2.org, as a user, a contributor, or someone willing to lend a hand, please ggambaattiscali [dot] it (get in touch) by January 31, 2027.

If no one comes forward by then, the site will be turned into a read-only archive, so that its content stays available.

Utility per aggiustare il volume di files mp3 ed aac. Aacgain è un modificato dell'eccellente programma mp3gain di Glen Sawyer. In aggiunta ai files audio mp3, supporta anche il formato AAC (mp4/m4a/QuickTime).

Questo software è distribuito come pacchetto compresso, da scaricare e installare manualmente; se ci sono prerequisiti da soddisfare, andranno anch'essi scaricati e installati manualmente.

Installazione manuale

Il programma è distribuito come pacchetto ZIP: scaricare in una cartella temporanea e scompattare nella cartella di destinazione. Vedi sotto per il(i) link di download.

Decomprimere preferibilmente in PATH.

I prerequisiti seguenti devono essere installati manualmente perché il programma possa funzionare:

E' possibile installare i prerequisiti con rpm, eseguendo la stringa seguente in una finestra comandi:

yum install libc libgcc1 libssp libstdc++6 libstdc++ libsupc++6 libsupc++ libgcc-fwd

WHAT'S NEW IN VERSION 1.8 a) Built with mpeg4ip/mp4v2 version 1.6.1. aacgain 1.7.1 was built with version 1.5.20. mp4v2 version 1.6.1 corrects problems that corrupted video files containing Quicktime chapter markers. b) Built with latest mp3gain version 1.4.7 sources checked into CVS. The mp3gain changes made since 1.7.1 support sample rates up to 96000. Previous versions had a maxmimum sample rate of 48000. c) Ignores faad2 "scalefactor out of range" errors. These errors resulted in "invalid file format" errors on apparently good files.
