Security/2 è un pacchetto che aggiunge ad OS/2 funzionalità di sicurezza per accessi da remoto e per quelli locali.

L'idea è di poter limitare agli utenti le possibilità di creare, leggere, scrivere, cancellare certi file, eseguire certi processi e terminarne altri.

La struttura modulare di Security/2 permette di estenderne facilmente le funzioni; sono disponibili API per gli sviluppatori che volessero rendere multi-user le loro applicazioni.

La maggior parte delle utilities di Security/2 sono open source.

Questo software è distribuito come pacchetto compresso, da scaricare e installare manualmente; se ci sono prerequisiti da soddisfare, andranno anch'essi scaricati e installati manualmente.

Installazione manuale

Il programma è distribuito come pacchetto ZIP: scaricare in una cartella temporanea e scompattare nella cartella di destinazione. Eseguire install.exe. Vedi sotto per il(i) link di download.
