Questo software è distribuito come pacchetto compresso, da scaricare e installare manualmente; se ci sono prerequisiti da soddisfare, andranno anch'essi scaricati e installati manualmente.

Installazione manuale

Il programma è distribuito come pacchetto ZIP: scaricare in una cartella temporanea e scompattare nella cartella di destinazione. Se si hanno problemi di audio, impostare in CONFIG.SYS la variabile "SET SDL_USE_TIMECRITICAL_AUDIO=1". Vedi sotto per il(i) link di download.

The Battle for Wesnoth v1.4.5 for OS/2 & eComStation. It is built with GCC 3.3.5 CSD3 and requires the libc063 runtime dll which is available from ftp://ftp.netlabs.org/pub/gcc/libc-0.6.3-csd3.zip Additionally, it requires the SDL DLL files that can be found in the SDL binary at Netlabs. At the time of writing, the most recent release is ftp://ftp.netlabs.org/pub/sdl/sdl-1.2.10-src-20080804.zip Wesnoth expects to be installed off the root directory, however if the klibc path rewriter, currently available from ftp://ftp.netlabs.org/pub/gcc/contrib/klibccfg.wpi is installed, an entry can be made to substitute /wesnoth to wherever Wesnoth is installed. A future build of Wesnoth may use a Warpin installer to automatically do this.
