ngSPICE is an electric/electronic circuit simulator based on Berkeley SPICE 3f5.

This software is distributed as compressed package. You have to download and manually install it; if prerequisites are required, you will have to manually install them too.

Manual installation

Program is distributed as ZIP package: download to temporary directory and unpack to destination folder. See below for download link(s).

Following is a list of prerequisites that you have to manually install in order to have the program working:

kLIBC / GCC Runtime Library

You can install the prerequisites with rpm running the following string in a command line:

yum install libc libcx libgcc1 libssp libstdc++6 libstdc++ libsupc++6 libsupc++ libgcc-fwd

NG SPICE Electric circuit simulator v. 2.5 (30/6/2015, Mentore Siesto)	Readme/What's new	This is the OS/2 port of ngSpice 2.5, an open source electronic circuit simulator based on SPICE 3f5. SPICE is widely known as one of the most famous circuit simulators, so I won't waste your time talking about it. I didn't have the time to test this port, and in any case I'm ought to give you the usual recommendations: the software is provided AS IS and in no case I can be responsible for any damage which might come from the use or misuse of this software. I just recompiled the code, and I don't know if it might present problems. That said, I didn't see on the 'net major problems due to ngspice, so I think it can be used without problems on an OS/2 machine. If you think this software can be useful to the OS/2 community, or have any suggestions, please feel free to tell me.
