Powerful interactive textmode FTP client. Supports:

restarting interrupted upload and download;
autoreconnect;
versatile firewall/proxy support;
mirroring;
pausing/restarting/skipping transfers;
sending arbitrary commands to server;
preserving timestamps/permissions;
scrollable control connection history.

Available in several languages and for AIX/RS/6000, Digital Unix/Alpha, BeOS, FreeBSD, Linux, OS/2, Solaris/SPARC, Windows 95/98/NT/2000 platforms. Since 1.72 version, NFTP is under GPL opensource license and are available also source codes.

This software is distributed as compressed package. You have to download and manually install it; if prerequisites are required, you will have to manually install them too.

Manual installation

Program is distributed as ZIP package: download to temporary directory, unpack to destination folder and run install.cmd to create program objects. See below for download link(s).

Following is a list of prerequisites that you have to manually install in order to have the program working:

EMX Runtime

You can install the prerequisites with rpm running the following string in a command line:

yum install emxrt
