This means that it is only valid with the version of the software that includes this license. Bremen, 14. Januar 2002 Attention --------- There is a new feature to cool down an AMD Athlon or AMD Duron on a KT133 or KX133 board. You can enable this feature in an event that is based on a temperature. If an event with Cool CPU is active it consumes CPU time. This is a dynamic feature. This feature changes your PCI configuration and is currently experimental. Configuration ------------- You can define if and how the values of the data sources are displayed. Just enter a text string with placeholders in the settings dialog. A "%n" will be replaced by the actual value A "%nF" converts the value to fahrenheit. For example to display "CPU: 28.0C/82.4F" just enter "CPU: %nC/%nFF". Contents -------- The archive should contain the following files: StHWMon.EXE - The program itself StHWMDEB.CMD - A debug script StHWM_DE.DLL - German resource file StHWM_EN.DLL - English resource file StHWM_IT.DLL - Italian resource file StHWM_FI.DLL - Finnisch resource file StHealh.DLL - Health monitoring and Rexx functions StHDaem.EXE - Daemon to run from CONFIG.SYS StH_VIA.DLL - Functions for VIA_82C686 Chip StH_WINB.DLL - Funktions for Winbond Chip StIO.DLL - Input/Output functions on ring 0 OS2OOB3.DLL - Runtime library for miscellaneous subparts of StHWMon FILE_ID.DIZ - BBS Description file Readme.eng - This file Readme.ger - German version of this file Install.CMD - Installation script MBoards.TXT - List of mother boards reported compatible with the program RexxApi.TXT - Rexx-API documentation Problm.RPT - Problem report template Sample1.CMD - A little monitor written in Rexx Sample2.CMD - Setting of correction values Sample3.CMD - Shows StHealthEmergencyAction() function call StHealth.H - Include file for use in C/C++ to connect to StHealth.DLL StHealth.LIB - Library for use to connect to StHealth.DLL Sample.C - Sample C source file to show how to query values xwHealth.DLL - widget DLL for XWorkplace xwHealth.C - The source code for xwHealth.DLL Installation ------------ Copy all files into a directory of your choice and run Install.CMD to select a language. There is a file called StHDaem.exe in this package. If you run StHDaem.EXE (for example from CONFIG.SYS via RUN satetement) the system handles events even if StHWMon GUI isn't running. Installation of XWorkplace widgets ---------------------------------- Please verify that StHWMon is running properly. All DLLs of this package must be in a path pointed to by LIBPATH. Copy the file xwHealth.DLL to the plugins\xcenter directory of your XWorkplace installation. Shut down all xcenter instances and restart them. You should see the new widgets for Temperatures,Fan speeds and Voltages. In addition to the documentation of xWorkplace xwHealth now supports %t<n> and %tF<n> (lowercase t) and %v<n> (lowercase v) If you got problems ------------------- Open an OS/2 command prompt. Change to the directory of StHWMon. Start the script StHWDEB.CMD. This will generate a file named StHWMon.TRC. eMail this file to me with a short problem description.
