Backup Demon/2 - Backup e ripristino automatico su Internet-Server o in locale.

BkpDemon è un programma per il backup ed il ripristino di dati che può salvare i dati anche su server internet o in rete locale.
 
Funzioni di BCaackup Demon/2:

  • Automatico: Scansiona il vostro/i dischi permanentemente alla ricerca di file nuovi o modificati
  • Operatività automatica e manuale
  • Riconosce tutti i file nuovi o modificati ed aggiorna il server di backup
  • Esecuzione in background
  • Profili: consente di definire dei profili da applicare a dati specifici da processare (e quali non processare)
  • Internet: aggiorna i file nuovi/modificati su server di backup disponibili in internet o in una lan (qualsiasi server FTP)
  • Il server di backup può essere anche un disco locale, tipo un hard-disk o un masterizzatore predisposto per la ricezione di dati in attesa di scrittura definitiva
  • Mantenimento di versione: i dati di backup sono immagazinati con data del file originale (versioning), implementando così la funzione di version-management (che consente il ripristino di qualsiasi versione precedente!)
  • Sicurezza: può utilizzare la criptazione preventiva sui file dati da sottoporre a backup (opzionale), per cui il server di backup, qualora remoto, garantirà riservatezza dei dati
  • Supporta funzioni query per agevolare la ricerca dei dati
Questo software è distribuito come pacchetto compresso, da scaricare e installare manualmente; se ci sono prerequisiti da soddisfare, andranno anch'essi scaricati e installati manualmente.

Installazione manuale

Il programma è distribuito come pacchetto ZIP: scaricare in una cartella temporanea e scompattare nella cartella di destinazione. Eseguire install.cmd. Vedi sotto per il(i) link di download.

Installation ------------- Prerequisites: (1) Warp4 is required (because of incompatibilities in tcpip with Warp3) (2) Connection to the internet (only if you choose a remote server as a backup medium, not if you choose to use a local drive instead). Step-1: Open an OS/2-commandline session Step-2: create a BkpDemon-directory of your choice Step-3: unzip the distribution-file into that directory Step-4: run INSTALL.CMD The installation-program will ask to modify your config.sys for you.
