OS/2 port of DOOM. DOOM is a popular 1993 science fiction horror-themed first-person shooter video game by id Software. The DOOM source code was released as open-source on 1997, graphic, sound and levels copyrighted by id Software. Port by more authors.

DOOM for OS/2 was never officially released and it is considered by software engineers a technological feat: Indeed, DOOM for OS/2 runs inside a Presentation Manager window and it is much more performant than the original DOS version!

This software is distributed as compressed package. You have to download and manually install it; if prerequisites are required, you will have to manually install them too.

Manual installation

Program is distributed as ZIP package: download to temporary directory and unpack to destination folder. See below for download link(s).

Distributions include only OS/2 native game loader and the first level, shareware, original game levels required.
