  • Chord is a program which converts an ASCII text file containing lyrics and chords for one or more songs into a PostScript file with lyrics and chords typeset in a professional style.
  • ChordII is an evoluted version of Chord. It takes a text file with musical chord descriptions and outputs a Postscript file with typesetted music, chords, chord definitions. It can also transpose music and has other facilities.
This software is distributed as compressed package. You have to download and manually install it; if prerequisites are required, you will have to manually install them too.

Manual installation

Program is distributed as ZIP package: download to temporary directory and unpack to destination folder. See below for download link(s).

You can install the prerequisites with rpm running the following string in a command line:

yum install libc
