Alternative CDRecord version. Mkisofs for image building and cdda2wav for audio grabbing included. This version works without ASPI router driver and supports USB CD/DVD drives as well.



Manual installation

Unzip to destination folder, better if in PATH.


To create a data iso image file including all files located into a directory using Joliet and Rock ridge directory format on UDF filesystem, type:

  • mkisofs -J -R -UDF -V disklabel -o filename.iso X:\path_to_directory

To burn on a blank DVD the iso image type:

  • cdrecord -eject -v speed=16 dev=0,1,0 filename.iso

where "speed" is the burning speed and "dev" is the SCSI device to use, detected by cdrecord -scanbus command.

Additional information:

The program needs new IBM os2cdrom.dmd (Version 10.157 or later) available for eComStation users (alternatively, package contains a special custom release) and the libc05/gcc322 Dlls. GCC Runtime Library
